By bringing together a leading UK University and two NHS provider organisations, the CCRP can work on research from early discovery phase right up to late phase clinical trials. This makes it an ideal vehicle for moving research from the laboratory into the ward.

We offer expertise and both academic and clinical facilities to our industry partners, working together to develop new cancer treatments.

Clinical Trials

The CCRP enables industry to work seamlessly across Cardiff & Vale UHB and Velindre University NHS Trust. This single front door provides access to expertise and facilities spanning haematological and solid tumour cancers, across multiple phases and levels of complexity.

Expertise

We offer Industry and other research sponsors and funders a single point of entry to access a range of NHS and University facilities and capability spread across the Cardiff region. We provide access to additional capabilities including genomics and data linkage by working with specialist organisations from across Wales.
