Services and benefits for members

We bring together a community of clinicians, academics, industry partners, administrators and policymakers. By working across organisational boundaries, we aim to do more research, and do it faster and more effectively.
We offer the following range of services and benefits to the members of our community.
We co-ordinate the writing of large, multi-organisation research funding bids, drawing on grant writing support from Cardiff University and clinical and administrative support from Velindre University NHS Trust and Cardiff and Vale UHB.
By bringing together smaller groups of researchers and clinicians we can help to develop translational grant applications.
We also support individual clinicians and early stage researchers to submit grant applications.
Please get in touch if you would like support with bid writing.
We work with the Wales Cancer Bank and Cardiff University Biobank to provide Cardiff Cancer Research Partnership affiliated researchers with rapid access to patient samples.
Contact us if you would like access to patient samples.
We host a range of workshops, seminars and other events to bring together academic and clinical researchers, industry, research funders and policymakers.

We help our University-based researchers find clinicians, NHS data and patient samples for their research, while helping our clinicians access academic fellowships and University-led research projects.
By acting as a bridge between University and NHS staff, we are enabling more research that spans the two sectors, resulting in stronger research studies and a more attractive partnering offer to industry.
By operating as an NHS/academic collaboration, we are also able to develop deeper, stronger partnerships with industry, making it easier for the companies we work with to access both University and NHS staff, facilities and expertise.
