Congratulations to Katie Gilmour, Senior Research Nurse Manager for the Cardiff Cancer Research Partnership (CCRP), who has been recognised with a GREATix Award for her outstanding contribution to research delivery and patient care.

The award acknowledges Katie’s continued dedication and support across multiple studies, despite the significant demands of her role as a Senior Nurse. Balancing the needs of staff, research participants and clinical trials is no small task, yet Katie consistently goes above and beyond to ensure studies are delivered successfully and participants receive the highest standard of care.

Katie has been recognised for her professionalism, commitment and positive approach. Even during exceptionally busy periods, she remains focused on supporting colleagues, delivering high-quality research and achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.
