Dr Bygrave graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine at Cardiff University, including completing a laboratory-based research MPhil on receptor tyrosine kinase inhibition in the stromal microenvironment.
Ceri established the myeloma service at the University Hospital of Wales and has delivered a broad portfolio of myeloma trials. Her clinical interests are in novel techniques to measure minimal residual disease (MRD) including imaging and mass spectrometry.
With a focus on real-world data, Ceri established the Wales National Myeloma Dashboard and enabled Cardiff to become an Honeur database site. Ceri is a member of the UK Myeloma Research Alliance and is Chair of the UK Myeloma Society.
