Dr Ricky Frazer

Dr Frazer obtained a first-class honours degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Bath and has completed an MSc in Medical Education. He was awarded a distinction in the Postgraduate Certificate in Acute Medicine at the University of South Wales. Ricky was a Welsh Clinical Leadership Training Fellow with the Wales Deanery and is a Founding Associate Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.

Ricky is Clinical Lead for the Acute Oncology Assessment Unit and the Immunotherapy Toxicity Management service at Velindre Cancer Centre. With a strong educational interest, he is a Royal College of Physicians College Tutor and Faculty Lead and Programme Director for The Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Medical Oncology validated by the University of Buckingham and GMC accredited.

Ricky is co-founder of the podcast ‘The Immunobuddies’, launched in 2023, which covers the use and management of immunotherapy in treating cancer. The podcast is freely available online and has been downloaded in more than 120 countries worldwide.
